See the whole path from landing to purchase in one picture. Where do checkout visitors actually come from? Straight from the product page? Via the cart? Via "shipping and returns"? The Sankey diagram tells you.
Flow diagram (Sankey)
All your traffic as a flow.
A Sankey-style visualization where each node is a page and each link is a navigation. Thick lines = common paths, thin lines = rare ones. Drag and zoom in full screen, click for session detail. Auto-groups slug-heavy web shop paths so the diagram does not turn into spaghetti.
Stor flödesvy med drag-och-zoom finns i dashboarden.
Straight from the Spårlös dashboard.
Who uses this?
Three concrete scenarios from real customers. No generic "for marketers" filler.
/signup → /verify-email → /onboarding → /dashboard. Or is it /signup → /docs → back → /signup (frustrated)? The flow diagram shows the patterns GA4 buries.
/blog/article-A → /blog/article-B → /newsletter. Or do they bounce after A? The flow shows whether your internal links work.
How it works
We build the diagram from sessions
Per session: all pageviews in order. We count occurrences of each transition (page X → page Y) and build a Sankey graph with thickness proportional to frequency.
Auto-collapse of slug-heavy paths
Web shops have URLs like /product/icecream-XYZ123. 200 unique products = 200 sub-nodes and unreadable spaghetti. A heuristic detects slug clusters and collapses them into /product/*. You see the flow, not the slugs.
Drag-zoom modal for deep dives
Click "Open larger view" for a full-screen overlay with pan, zoom (Ctrl+wheel/pinch) and click-to-drill. SVG-based, so the image stays sharp at any zoom level.
What you get
- Sankey visualization on the site dashboard
- Inline view + full-screen drag-zoom modal
- Auto-groups slug clusters into "/parent/*"
- Thickness proportional to visitors on the transition
- Click a node to see the sessions that passed through it
- The diagram builds on top journeys (the same data as "Most common journeys")
- A date-range picker controls the history window
You own 100% of your data.
No Google, no AdTech, no retargeting pixels, no "business partners" making money off your visitors in the background. Just you and Spårlös.
No third parties watching
We have no business partners in the data path. No ad pixels, no affiliate trackers, no "analytics-on-analytics" services.
We never sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to AI models, not to marketers. Your traffic is not our revenue model. Your subscription is.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my web shop look good now, was it not spaghetti before?+
We shipped the auto-collapse heuristic on 2026-05-22 specifically for that problem. Path clusters with 3+ siblings that share a prefix and look slug-shaped (long + mixed-case + digits) collapse into /parent/*. Plain pages (/, /cart, /profile) are not affected.
Can I turn off auto-collapse?+
Not yet. Right now we always run it because it solves 80% of the spaghetti cases without any configuration. Per-site path normalization is on the list of deferred features.
How deep does the flow go?+
Default 6 levels (page 1 through page 6 in a typical session). The larger view goes to 8 levels. Longer sessions are truncated at the last level, but no data is lost in the totals.
Does Sankey work on Hobby or Starter?+
Yes, on every plan including the free one. The difference between plans is the history window the diagram draws from: 7 days on Hobby, 90 days on Starter, 12 months on Pro.
