You see that the most common journey is /blog-article → /product-category → /product-X. Suddenly you know your content drives sales, not just reading.
Visitor journeys
The path, not just the destination.
GA4 shows numbers, we show stories. Common journeys are the patterns visitors actually follow through the site. Drillable down to individual sessions with timestamps per step, fully anonymous, no IP stored.
Straight from the Spårlös dashboard.
Who uses this?
Three concrete scenarios from real customers. No generic "for marketers" filler.
The client asks: "How do people find the services page?" You open a session and show that 30% arrive via the blog article about X, then click to the booking page without visiting /pricing. A concrete, measurable insight.
Post A does not drive the most traffic, but visitors from A spend twice as long and visit more pages. The journeys view shows this, the KPI table does not.
How it works
We group pageviews per session
A session = pageviews from the same anonymous visitor within 30 minutes. Server-derived, no cookie, no client-side state. Sessions cannot be linked across days or between sites.
We count common patterns
Top 10 patterns sorted by number of visitors. Per pattern: average time, last seen. "Latest journeys" as a fallback when there is not enough data for patterns.
Click for session detail
Click a session in the live view or the journeys list: full timeline with an HH:MM:SS clock, dwell time per step, source and device. A shareable URL for team discussion.
What you get
- Most common journeys (top 10 patterns)
- Average time + last seen per pattern
- Live view with active sessions right now
- Drill to session detail with timestamps
- Sankey flow diagram
- Sessions page with filters on path, country, browser
- Pagination through your full history window
- Shareable URL per session, no login required
You own 100% of your data.
No Google, no AdTech, no retargeting pixels, no "business partners" making money off your visitors in the background. Just you and Spårlös.
No third parties watching
We have no business partners in the data path. No ad pixels, no affiliate trackers, no "analytics-on-analytics" services.
We never sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to AI models, not to marketers. Your traffic is not our revenue model. Your subscription is.
All hosted in the EU
ISO 27001-certified EU data center. Schrems II-safe. No US sub-processors. Swedish DPA included.
Frequently asked questions
How is it anonymous if you show the whole session?+
We have no visitor name, no IP, no personal ID number, no email. Just a daily rotating visitor hash that cannot be tied to a specific person. You see that "a visitor from Sweden using Chrome on mobile took the path X → Y → Z" and nothing more.
How long a session do we get to see?+
Up to 30 minutes between the first and last pageview = one session. If the visitor comes back after an hour, that is a new session. The visitor hash rotates daily, so we cannot link sessions across days either.
Which plan includes journeys?+
Every plan, including Hobby (free). Top journeys, the live view, full session detail and the Sankey flow diagram are all included on the free plan. The plans differ in the history window: 7 days on Hobby, 90 days on Starter, 12 months on Pro.
Does it work on SPAs (React, Vue, Astro)?+
Yes. Our tracker hooks into pushState, replaceState and popstate so every SPA navigation counts as a separate pageview. Hash routers (/#/cart) are detected too. More in the documentation.
