Who uses this?

Three concrete scenarios from real customers. No generic "for marketers" filler.

Content site

Top source is sverigesradio.se? Find out which article mentioned you, and optimize that landing page to capture the readers.

Swedish SaaS

95% of traffic from Sweden plus a few percent from Finland. It may be time to create /fi pages or start marketing there.

Web shop

60% mobile traffic = you have to prioritize mobile checkout. Browsers show 5% on older Safari = test the checkout there before release.

How it works

01

Every pageview event

The tracker sends referrer hostname, IP (in-memory), User-Agent and device type on each pageview.

02

We parse server-side

The IP is looked up against a local geo database for country and discarded immediately. The User-Agent is parsed server-side into browser, version, OS and device type. None of this is stored as an identifier.

03

Breakdowns shown in the dashboard

Top lists sorted by number of unique visitors per category. The date-range picker controls the history.

What you get

  • Top sources (referrer hostname, incl. Direct)
  • Countries with flag + English name
  • Browsers (Chrome / Firefox / Safari / Edge and more)
  • Devices (desktop / mobile / tablet)
  • AI sources as their own category (ChatGPT, Claude and more)
  • Outbound links (clicks to external domains)
  • Cookie-free attribution
  • IP never persisted, only in-memory for the country lookup

You own 100% of your data.

No Google, no AdTech, no retargeting pixels, no "business partners" making money off your visitors in the background. Just you and Spårlös.

No third parties watching

We have no business partners in the data path. No ad pixels, no affiliate trackers, no "analytics-on-analytics" services.

We never sell your data

Not to advertisers, not to AI models, not to marketers. Your traffic is not our revenue model. Your subscription is.

All hosted in the EU

ISO 27001-certified EU data center. Schrems II-safe. No US sub-processors. Swedish DPA included.

Frequently asked questions

Do you show cities?+

No, only countries. City tracking requires more detailed GeoIP data and introduces identification risks we do not want to take. Country level covers 95% of use cases and keeps privacy simple.

How do you interpret "Direct" traffic?+

Pageviews without a referrer hostname. Could be: bookmarks, mobile apps, newsletter clicks without UTM, or browser security that strips the referrer. We do not guess what it is, we show the number as is.

Do you count browser version or just name?+

We store both browser name and version. The dashboard only shows the name (Chrome / Safari etc.) in the breakdown list today. Version drill-down is on the roadmap so you can identify outdated-browser segments.

How is this different from Google Analytics?+

GA4 shows the same breakdowns but ties them to ad-tech, US data transfer and cookie-banner requirements. We do the same thing without a third party in the data path, without cookies, without a persistent visitor ID across days.

Stop sending data to the US. Start today.

Get the same insights as Google Analytics. Without the banner, without cookies, without the legal headache.
